Here are 5 steps to get women started on financial planning

“49% of women don’t make investments due to lack of knowledge.

25% of #women who consumed financial content online took the first step towards #investing their money”

This interesting statistic was shared recently based on research by the investment platform Groww, India

That was a startling reminder of the state of financial literacy in our country. Or the lack thereof.

Basic financial literacy is a must – Especially for working women

“Don’t expect anyone else to support you
Maybe you have a trust fund
maybe you have a wealthy spouse
but you never know when either one might run out”

My working parents who were equal partners in investing decisions oft told me something on these lines growing up

I am no expert, and there are women doing wonders in this space

But in this friday’s #2minExplainer series I wanted to talk about 5 fundamental steps that you could do over the weekend to get you started on your financial planning.
