When a tech debuts at the peak of the hype cycle
Gartner released the 2023 version of its hype curve for emerging technology , and as expected, generative AI debuted right at the peak of inflated expectations.
To put it in perspective ChatGPT debuted less than a year ago.
Another point to ponder is when you are at the peak, the only way to go is down.
