Day dreamer. ENTJ – Protagonist. Nerd

My interests range from space travel, setting up rock star teams, making elaborate to-do lists, science fiction, brain machine interfaces, block chain, Harry Potter, Neruda poems, behavioral economics to bringing more women back into tech…

I realized though that I spend a majority of my day thinking about or working on 3 seemingly varied areas.

Artificial Intelligence and Technology

Around how technology is the greatest leveler and democratizing force for someone like me raised in a developing country. Opportunities that STEM could provide to women in our country towards creating financial independence*. I am also obsessed with AI beyond techniques in Machine Learning. In designing a future that we would like our children to live in, in the long term. And in the short term, how massive measurable value can be accrued when AI strategy aligns with Business strategy. How AI is ineffective across companies when it isn’t accompanied with process and mindset change. I also happen to work in the same field. Serendipity.

Books

So many books, so little time. Before I learnt to look up at mentors, I looked towards books for guidance to life. In an alternate world I am curled up reading them all day for a living.

Being Better

That is the precept I would like to live by. Level Up. ‘Average is Over’.

*P.S – I was raised by full time working parents more than 3 decades ago – a feat relatively rare for the time and age. My mother always quoted something similar to the advice in the Sunscreen song – “Don’t expect anyone else to support you. Maybe you have a trust fund, maybe you’ll have a wealthy spouse but you’ll never know when either one will run out”.

Make good art. Probably things will work out somehow, and eventually time will take the sting away, but that doesn't matter. Do what only you do best. Make good art.
